Blue Apple actors took their drama 'Living Without Fear' to Parliament by kind invitation of Mr Speaker John Bercow. They performed in Speaker's House to an audience which included ministers, MPs, Members of the House of Lords and Chief Police Officers. Steve Brine MP said 'This was something I personally will never forget, and I am truly thrilled. This was a very special evening which I know had a profound impact on everyone present. Blue Apple is not just a Winchester phenomenon, it is a national phenomenon'.
Blue Apple Theatre has been named as the 1000th winner of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service! This amazing honour is the equivalent of an MBE awarded to an organisation. The presentation was made by the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire in front of the Mayor and many distinguished guests, volunteers and performers. Three cheers and THANK YOU to all of our volunteers! Blue Apple Theatre is a highly ambitious theatre company which brings all the benefits of taking part in theatre to adult performers with learning disabilities, and enables them to present high quality productions to the widest possible audiences. Through the presentation of entertaining, engaging and exciting performances, the company seeks to challenge prejudice and raise the ceiling of expectation for adults with learning disabilities. We are particularly interested in the relationship between arts and health. Blue Apple believes that the sense of self worth, meaning and purpose gained through being directly involved in the arts is incalculable and greatly helps in the building of a more inclusive and equal society. Blue Apple is a fully inclusive company, where people of all abilities are equally valued.

The Hotel
Blue Apple's full company is an adaptation of a farce by Feydeau. Everything will go wrong uproariously at the Theatre Royal, Winchester 11-13th July 2013. Supported by Rathbones and the John Feldberg Foundation.
Dance Blue Apple's Dancers continue to develop their repertoire of bookable performances, with recent shows for the Mayor of Winchester, the Rotary Club and at a fundraising evening in Winchester’s idyllic water meadows. Freddie’s Story This training film for medical staff about patients with learning disability is being used by NHS Foundation Trusts across Britain. It was inspired by Mencap’s Death By Indifference report, and the Sir Jonathan Michael Inquiry into Healthcare For All.
